Event Description
At the 2007 IAAF World Youth Championships, the U.S. finished atop the medal table with 14, including an all-time high of seven golds. Team USA looks to continue its excellent record in Bressanone, Italy at the 6th IAAF World Youth Championships, taking place July 8-12, 2009. USA Track & Field athletes ages 16 and 17 through December 31, 2009 (born in 1992 or 1993) will be considered for the team based on performance at the World Youth Track & Field Trials to be held June 30 - July 1 in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
