Born and raised in New Orleans and a former resident of the late great Desire Projects, I developed my skill as an artist, though I spent part of my teen years in my back hall fixing old fans and radios. Near graduation time (1991-92), I worked mostly with local photographers as a background artist and, also, I airbrush T-shirts.
After Hurricane Katrina, where I lost half of my artwork (including the comic book I drew of everybody from around the way), I had moved to Dallas in September and went on a two year hiatus. Now, I'm getting back into my work (you can see my new work on www.myspace.com/jlewisjunior). Also, I'm working on a project about the Desire Projects. Details and research are still pending.

THE "BOTS" ARE MAKING A COMEBACK!!!
If anyone have noticed certain people (tho whom we don't know from a hot sausage po' boy) joining any of the Ning network sites and leaving messages talking about free ringtones, please DO NOT ADD THESE "BOTS"!!!
