Today in merry ole England,once again Triple Olympic gold-medallist Usain Bolt sets the fastest time ever for the 150m, running the first 100 metres in 9.90 seconds then cruses on to finish the Manchester street race in 14.35 seconds. Will keep you posted as the season is about to kick-off next month.

Bolt is drug free

Has been stoutly defending the world record times set by Jamaica's sprint sensation Usain Bolt saying he is convinced the triple world record is drug free.

Lord Coe who himself set three world records in 1979, one in the 800 metres after only emerging the year before at the European championships, says Bolt is a much more talented athlete than Ben Johnson.

Bolt, running his second 400 metres in a week, won the event at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Invitational at the National Stadium in 45.54 seconds, an improvement on the 46.35 he ran the previous weekend at the Camperdown Classic.

Mills (Bolt's coach) said he expected this improvement from Bolt.
