UIL Regional Meets may not have FAT timing to qualify for State

AUSTIN, TX— After collaborating with University of Texas officials and the twenty UIL regional track meet hosts, the UIL has tentatively rescheduled the regional track meets to take place after interscholastic competition resumes on May 11. Here is my take on this, give me one successful athlete today, professional or in high school that does not have a persoanl trainer or coach and I will show you an athlete that is just thier to be on te team. every sunday parents and kids all seem to want get the sunday paper and see if my kid name is in the paper, most times the number one place is a club coached kid. 2008 Olympics (Day 13) It's time to go home!!!!!

Today is the last day of the Men's Decathlon, if all goes well Bryan Clay should make the medal stand. The only events left are the prelims of the 4x400, Mens Pole Vault, and the 5K with USA having S. Flanagan, J. Rhines and K. Goucher. Well tommorow will not be as dramatic as tonight, the Men's 400M final will be the excitement event. If the matchup of Warnier and Merritt show than we may have another World record broken. The men's 800 Meter Prelims are in the evening session, Men's Pole Vault and the finals of the Men's 200 Meters and the women's 400 Meter Hurdles. This morning will be light at the bird nest, the women's Javelin and prelims of the 200M will be held. the women's Long Jump Qualification round will also begin. Well today is Sunday the 17th and in the morning the Women's Marathon will begin at 7:30 AM, Events at the Bird Nest will not start until tonight, so today is my sightseeing day. This will begin the first day for the women's prelims in several events. The Men's 100 Meter Semi-Final and Final will also be run today. The semi-final has Walter Dix, Usain Bolt, Micheal Frater and Kim Collins in Heat 1, Putting Tyson Gay, Darvis Patton and Asafa Powell in Heat 2.
