Justin Oliver held on for second place as the anchor in the 1,600-meter relay, giving the Aggies the men's team title at the NCAA track and field championships Saturday. Texas A&M also won the women's title, becoming the first school since 1990 to win both outdoor championships.

regional track meet hosts, the UIL has tentatively rescheduled the regional track meets to

Here is my take on this, give me one successful athlete today, professional or in high school that does not have a persoanl trainer or coach and I will show you an athlete that is just thier to be on te team.
every sunday parents and kids all seem to want get the sunday paper and see if my kid name is in the paper, most times the number one place is a club coached kid.

Well if you did not realize that spell in the air, it the scent of runners burning up the track. The unofficial indoor season is about to end for High school athletes in the DFW metroplex, several have qualified for the NIKE indoor meet in Landover, Maryland this year during spring break.

Today is the last day of the Men's Decathlon, if all goes well Bryan Clay should make the medal stand. The only events left are the prelims of the 4x400, Mens Pole Vault, and the 5K with USA having S. Flanagan, J. Rhines and K. Goucher.
Well its time to make that flight back to the states, if I'm lucky, I'll catch a red-eye to Seattle and be home by 6:00PM Tomorrow evening.

Well tommorow will not be as dramatic as tonight, the Men's 400M final will be the excitement event. If the matchup of Warnier and Merritt show than we may have another World record broken.
Dayron Robles has to show the world in the 110M Hurdles with David Oliver and David Payne on each side of him he deserves the Gold Medal.

This morning will be light at the bird nest, the women's Javelin and prelims of the 200M will be held. the women's Long Jump Qualification round will also begin.
Tonight bring out the best in the team the women's 100m Hurdles will begin building up the medal count, Sanya Richards is chasing the gold.

Well today is Sunday the 17th and in the morning the Women's Marathon will begin at 7:30 AM, Events at the Bird Nest will not start until tonight, so today is my sightseeing day.
This evening the women will run the 100M Semi- with Edwards, Williams and Lee. The Women's 100M Hurdles Prelims and the Women's 400M Hurdles Prelims are also today, with the Women's 100M Finals tonight.

This will begin the first day for the women's prelims in several events. The Men's 100 Meter Semi-Final and Final will also be run today.
The semi-final has Walter Dix, Usain Bolt, Micheal Frater and Kim Collins in Heat 1, Putting Tyson Gay, Darvis Patton and Asafa Powell in Heat 2. Gay drew lane 9 in the random seeding with Powell being in Lane 4.

Well this is it the preliminaries are beginning today, it about 6:00 AM, I am like a kid waiting for christmas. The athletes have to be at the track 2 hours before their scheduled event.
