Texas A&M Women's & Men's won the championship, with several local kids from the area:

Tyrone Stewart, Cedar Hill HS, Texas A&M, LJ 25'08.25
In addition other local area athletes at the Championship:
Jason Richardson, Cedar Hill HS, S. Carolina 110HH 13.49
Oscar Spurlock, Carter HS, USC missed the finals with a time of 13.814,
Marcus Boyd, Ft Worth,Baylor Univ, member of the 4x400 relay finished third with a time of 3:01.12

Krystin Lacy, Skyline HS, UCLA, 400M 53.83
Asia Diaz, Garland Naaman Forest, Texas Tech 800m 2:05.60
